There are so many ways to celebrate Halloween. Young or old, horror movie buff or hide-me-under-these-covers-while-you-tell-me-what-happens pro. Luckily, Philly has a party for everyone. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite options below.
The Great Gatsby Halloween Party: Saturday, October 27, 7 – 11 pm, Mummers Museum, 1100 S. Second Street. This party is for anyone who loves a roaring good time, as long as that good time looks like it stepped right out of the Roaring 20s. Dress in your F. Scott Fitzgerald finest and get ready for live music from Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society as well as live dance performances (and lessons!)
Drink Philly’s Halloween Boat Party: Wednesday, October 31, 6:30-9:30 pm, Spirit of Philadelphia, 401 S. Columbus Boulevard. What’s even better than a costume party? A costume party on a boat with a three-hour open bar brought to you by Drink Philly. And if the craft beer menu isn’t enough to get you excited, one peak at the dinner buffet menu will have you wishing you still had your best and biggest trick-or-treating pumpkin bucket to bring along.
Are You Afraid of the 90s? Wednesday, October 31, 9 pm – 2 am, The Barbary, 951 Frankford Avenue. Relive your childhood in style. 90s style, that is. The Barbary’s 90s-themed Halloween celebration returns for the third year, bringing all your favorite tunes.
